SUNPOWER established since 1989 started out as focused Engineering company designing custom made power solutions like UPS systems and Voltage Stabilizers for a wide range of diversified clients from the Banking, Telecom and Corporate sectors. The year 1994 witnessed an explosion of commercial Internet use and soon owing to the huge demand, ever expanding Internet networks and dependency on IT infrastructures the demands for power protection equipments, business continuity and managing system uptime grew exponentially.
Use of power protection devices like UPS systems, Inverters, Voltage Stabilizers and Surge protectors were of prime importance as they kept mission critical applications and business running without interruptions or data losses in the event of Power outages and electrical fluctuations.
SUNPOWER pooled in the best expertise from the industry both from Electrical Engineering and manufacturing backgrounds to launch their 1st UPS factory in 1995 located in Taipei, Taiwan to produce extremely high quality, high power factor-Line interactive and On Line UPS systems from 600Va to 20Kva. We proudly achieved ISO9001: 2000 certifications by 1996 and have ever since expanded our production facilities in both Taiwan . We are currently having capacity to produce 150, 000 units per month and have been known to deliver on time and keep our prices uniform due to three major reasons-Multiple, Pre qualified raw material suppliers, 12 months pre-planned forecasts which keep our smooth inflow of materials irrespective of various external factors and communicating closely with our clients for their quarterly demands.
SUNPOWER Logo and Brand name is today symbolic amongst our clients and we are known for our aggressive prices and wide range of highly reliable power systems.
